COVID-19 notice

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients for you continued support during this very difficult time.

We cannot wait to return to work and see you all.

We can only do this when we have permission from the government to reopen.

We have all missed you all very much and our craft!

The salon will be open 7 days a week to accommodate all cancelled appointments at beginning of lockdown and during lockdown will be honoured and those clients will be accommodated first.

To be able to achieve this we sincerely hope these measures that we are taking means we are able to give our clients and staff a safe environment to work in.

To ensure this we will be deep cleaning and disinfecting the salon each day, each work station and equipment after every client. We will be operating with strict social distancing measures. Your stylist will have their own designated working stations.

We will only be allowing pre-booked appointments and nobody will be allowed in the salon if they are not pre-booked, only the client booked in will be allowed in the salon.

If you do have any symptoms of COVID-19 i.e. a fever over 37.5 and a persistent cough and if anyone in your household has suspected symptoms of COVID-19 please DO NOT come to your appointment, re-arrange and follow gov.uk/coronavirus.

On arrival of your appointment please keep your distance of 1 metres away from other clients and please wait outside to be invited in by your stylist. Unfortunately, we will not be allowed to use our waiting area due to health and safety guidelines.

On arrival of your appointment please wait to be greeted and seated by a member of our team. We ask of you to be wearing clean clothes, a mask and to sterilise/wash your hands when entering, we will be supplying hand sanitizer.

Your stylist will be wearing PPE equipment to protect themselves as well as you, we appreciate this is very strange but extremely necessary at this time. We will be using disposable gowns and towels for each client to ensure everyone’s safety

Due to guidelines if you are booked in for a colour it is important that you wash your hair that day and it is dry. If you suffer with a sensitive scalp, make sure your stylist is aware when booking your appointment.

We ask that you remain seated unless you need to use the facilities which will be cleaned after each person.

Sadly, we will not be able to offer you any refreshments or magazines but please feel free to bring your own.

Payments will only be taken via card or pre written cheques. Contactless payments are encouraged.

We are aware that all of the above is very regimented and is not our usual service that we provide but we can assure you that by carrying out all of these precautions we are protecting you and ourselves from this horrible virus.  We will be smiling behind our masks and with our eyes.

Tina will be in touch in the coming weeks to get your appointment booked in. A mini consultation will take place over the phone, so we can work out how much time we need to dedicate to your lockdown locks.

Please make us aware if you have used a home box dye as we will need to re-skin test you before your appointment. Please make us aware of any issues or changes you would like to make before your appointment.

Due to longevity of not being able to visit the salon, on your first appointment we may require to use more colour on your lockdown roots. We hope you can appreciate that this will impact the cost. We will be calling this service a colour upgrade and depending on how much colour is needed the price will range from £8.00 – £15.00
